How does the Bespoke Design Process work?
The first step is always to have a look around at the kind of designs you like - browse website or go an look in jewellery stores. It is sometimes as useful for you to know what you don't like as much as you do. think about size, style & colour.
Then bring those ideas (or even images) to an appointment, or if that is not possible, to email or talk on the phone, to chat through your ideas and what you want to design. All things are possible - even if you don't see anything similar on our site. That's why it's bespoke!
With your say so, our design team will create your design on our 3D CAD programme and send you the image of what your design will look like from 3 angles. Once you are happy with the design it will be put into production - printed as a 3D mould, and then cast. It is sent off to be hallmarked, any stones are set and the finishing touch is for it to be polished!
How long does the Bespoke Service take?
After confirmation of commission, it takes 3 to 6 weeks to create and deliver your piece. The design & approval stage usually takes about 2 weeks, but the more decisive you are, the quicker it is! Your bespoke jewellery will usually be delivered approx 4 weeks from when you agree to the design. However, if you need it quicker, give us a call...
Where will my jewellery be made?
All of our bespoke pieces are finished by hand in our UK workshop.
What can you design?
What do you have in mind? We can start from scratch, or from a design you already have in mind. We can redesign Family heirloom or sentimental jewellery, or even set your own gemstones and diamonds purchased elsewhere. We have made elegant ring designs, vintage style booches, and even nose studs!
What will my bespoke jewellery be made from?
Just as you search for one-off individualism, we search for raw materials that pass our strict ethical tests. The jewellery and settings are made using the metal of your choice, from 18ct Fairtrade and Fairmined gold (white or yellow), 100% recycled platinum or 100% recycled silver, and the finest ethically sourced diamonds and precious stones. We canl also source speciality stones or metals if you require
Why choose CRED Bepoke Service?
We use only the finest ethical precious metals so you can be as excited about the origin of the materials as you are about the design. We will source your perfect traceable diamond or rare gemstone including ethically mined gemstones.
Annabel will work closely with you to produce your perfect individual piece - This is a truly personal process, working with you to turn your vision into reality.
We have worked with clients all over the world and the designer stays in close contact throughout the briefing, designing and crafting process.
How much does it cost?
Each bespoke design is unique in materials and time to design, so when you first comission us we will give you a full personal quote before we start, including the design time, the production and cost of the materials. We ask for £120 upfront towards to cost of the designers time, which will be deducted from the quote if you decide to go ahead, and give you opportunity to tweak the design until you are happy. If you would like to have more than two designs created there would be an additional charge of £20 per design but again this will be reflected in the final quote. when you give the go-ahead to create the piece, we will ask for a 50% deposit.
If after having a bespoke design done you decide not to have it made, the design cost is non-refundable.
