These dramatic earrings are part of the darkly romantic Fiore Della Notte collection by ethical jewellery designer Anna Loucah, originally created for Livia Firth to wear to the 2011 Golden Globes. The Fleur de Lis flowers are created from 18ct recycled white gold, blackened with rhodium plating. The centre of the flower is an ethically mined ruby with drops of purple spinel all sourced from Tanzania by Ruby Fair. The earrings are finished with lustrous CarbonNeutral® Akoya pearls from Jersey Pearl.
The ethical jewellery collection is inspired by The Fleur de Lis (on the coronation jewels of The Queen Mother) and regal opulence, blended with Livia's love for Old world Glamour. The name of the collection, Fiore della Notte meaning Flower of the Night comes from the dark romanticism of the ethical gemstones and the shades of blackened gold used.
