The Parts of the Whole collection by Caludia Vallejo is based on mandelas, which in the Indian tradition, express the richness of the particularity of each part within the unity of the whole.

 “As it was my first collection made entirely with gold from Oro Verde, it had two main intentions. One was to create awarenes to the costumer with the idea of us also being "parts of the whole" as a huge ecosystem, the mines can be here in Colombia, but we are all here on Earth and we drink the same water, and breathe the same air...”

The pieces are all lightweight, using less gold and making contemporary designer jewellery more affordable so more people are able to be part of the fairtrade gold story.
